Key Responsibilities:

  • Intelligence Planning & Strategy: You will lead the development, coordination, and execution of intelligence-related activities for Combatant Command (CCMD) planning, ensuring intelligence is fully integrated into military strategies.
  • Strategic Planning & Assessment: Develop strategic plans, operational orders, and assessments that support defense operations and national security efforts.
  • Senior Leadership Briefings: Regularly brief senior military and government officials on the status of intelligence plans and provide actionable recommendations for decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Participate in joint working groups and planning sessions to ensure intelligence is effectively communicated and applied to military strategies.
  • Support Cyberspace Operations: Contribute to intelligence planning for cyberspace and digital defense operations.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and support junior planners, sharing methodologies, tools, and resources to improve overall planning capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, applicants should have the following:

  • 8+ years of experience in intelligence analysis and 2+ years in intelligence planning.
  • Experience in authoring strategic plans, orders, and assessments used in military and defense operations.
  • Experience in joint working groups and forums, including briefing senior leaders.
  • Familiarity with IC-standard intelligence tools, databases, and platforms.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting joint command-level organizations and working with Combatant Commanders.
  • Familiarity with intelligence support to cyberspace operations and other emerging technologies in defense.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently interface with senior leadership.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • DoD Intelligence Planning Course Certification or equivalent.
