Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Support the provisioning and configuration of cloud-based environments using technologies like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- DevOps Framework Implementation: Work with cloud architects to implement DevOps practices, automate infrastructure provisioning, and manage deployment pipelines.
- System Administration: Manage systems using Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware, applying your experience to ensure optimal performance.
- Scripting and Automation: Use Python or Linux Shell Scripts to automate cloud infrastructure tasks, improving efficiency and scalability.
- Issue Resolution: Triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools, focusing on public cloud environments and server/network components.
- Continuous Automation: Design and implement continuous automation across multiple technical stacks to improve system reliability and reduce manual interventions.
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following basic requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience managing systems using Salt for configuration management.
- Familiarity with NiFi, Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Linux iptables, networking configuration, and DNS.
- Experience with bi-directional network transfer systems and common build tools like Maven, Gradle, or NPM.
- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification.
