Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Male Indian citizens (including subjects of Nepal or Bhutan).
Educational Qualifications:
Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Certificate in Motor Mechanic trade or 3 years’ practical experience in a reputed workshop.
Constable (Motor Mechanic):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Motor Mechanic trade or equivalent.
Age Limit (as on closing date):
- Head Constable (Motor Mechanic): 18–25 years
- Constable (Motor Mechanic): 18–23 years
- Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen as per Government rules.
